Park Hunt — Privacy
App Store privacy label: Data Linked to You only if you sign in: email address, user ID, device ID, your visits — app functionality only, no tracking
Your visits live on your phone. A check-in uses a single location fix to confirm you're inside the park, then throws it away, so no coordinates are ever stored. If you choose to sign in with an LMKdev ID, only your visits sync to your account. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the National Park Service.
The specifics
- No coordinates are stored: a check-in uses one location fix for the inside-the-park test and discards it
- “Always” location is requested only if you turn on nearby alerts, and alerts never award a badge
- With the optional LMKdev ID, only your visits sync, and you can erase that copy in Settings
- Downloaded state packs are checked file by file before they're installed
- No ads, no tracking
Children
Park Hunt is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If a future version of Park Hunt ever collects anything, this page changes before that version ships, and the App Store privacy label changes with it. A privacy page that lags the app is a false statement, not a stale one.
