What it is
Daily Vow is a small morning ritual. You press and hold, and today's affirmation opens up. In the evening you write one line of gratitude. Your days grow a garden instead of a scoreboard, and it is free for everyone.
How to get started
- Daily Vow is in beta: install it on your iPhone from the public TestFlight link on this page, then open it.
- Answer three quick questions: what to call you, which topics matter to you right now, and when your affirmation should find you. Then tap "Begin my mornings".
- On the Today tab, read your affirmation slowly, then press and hold "Hold to receive" to make it yours for the day.
- From the evening on, Today invites one line of gratitude. Write one small, true thing and tap "Save to my journal", or tap "Not tonight".
- Tap the heart on any affirmation you love and it's saved in the Saved tab for the days you need it.
Questions
How does the garden grow?
A flower blooms on every day you receive an affirmation or write a gratitude. Keep either one and the day counts. You can see your garden in Settings, under Your garden.
Where do my gratitude lines go?
They stay on your phone and are never uploaded. They gather in the Gratitude tab like pressed flowers.
Can it wake me up with an affirmation?
Yes, on iOS 26 and later. In Settings, turn on "Wake to an affirmation" and pick a time. It's a real alarm, so it sounds through Silent and Focus.
Can I change my topics or reminder times later?
Yes. In Settings, use Affirmation topics (under Make it yours) and the Reminders section. There's also an optional evening check-in.
What if today is heavy?
In Settings, the "If today is heavy" row lists real people you can call or text right now. It's always there and never pushed at you.
Is Daily Vow free?
Yes. Daily Vow: Free, never forced ads — tips welcome. LMKdev apps have no paywall on the core of the app and never show forced ads (no banners, no pop-up ads). Optional tips, and in some apps optional videos you choose to watch, help pay for the next app.
Are the Daily Vow widgets free?
Yes. Widgets are always free in every LMKdev app — never behind a tip, an ad or a sign-in. Long-press your Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for the app.
What does Daily Vow do with my data?
Daily Vow's privacy policy is at https://lmkdev.com/privacy.
Do I need an account?
No. Signing in with an LMKdev ID is optional — it backs up and syncs your progress across devices. The app works fully without it.
How do I suggest a feature or a new app?
Let Me Know — that's what LMK stands for. Email hello@lmkdev.com with your idea for Daily Vow (or for a whole new app); a person reads every one. Apps by the people, for the people: if your idea ships, you can choose to be credited by name.
Troubleshooting
- My daily reminder isn't showing up. Go to Settings › Reminders and tap "Reschedule reminders". If it says reminders are not authorized, turn on notifications for the app in iOS Settings.
- The morning alarm won't turn on. If the app says alarms are off, allow alarms for the app in iOS Settings → Privacy, then switch "Wake to an affirmation" on again.
- "Save as Wallpaper" doesn't work. The app needs permission to save to Photos. Allow photo access for it in iOS Settings, then try again. Once it's saved, set it from your Lock Screen.
