Repz — Help & FAQ
🏋️ In public beta (TestFlight) · iPhone · Apple Watch · Widgets · Free, never forced ads, no in-app purchases
What it is
Repz is a free workout log with an 876-exercise library you can search instantly, even offline. Build routines, log your sets, and track your progress over time. It's free forever: never any forced ads, and no in-app purchases.
How to get started
- Repz is in beta: install it on your iPhone from the public TestFlight link on this page, then open it.
- Answer a few quick questions (what you train, what equipment you have, your level and units, and an optional name), then tap "Start training". You can skip any of them.
- Take the one-minute "How Repz works" tour that comes up after setup.
- In the Routines tab, pick a starter template or a ready-made plan, tap "Build my plan" to have Repz build your week, or make a new routine yourself.
- Tap Start on a routine and log each set as you go. Your finished workouts show up in the History tab.
Questions
Where is Settings?
Open the History tab and tap the gear. That's where you'll find Training, Apple Health, Wearables, your LMKdev ID, and Your data.
Can Repz save my workouts to Apple Health?
Yes, if you want it to. In Settings, turn on "Save workouts to Apple Health". Finished workouts then show up in Health and in your Fitness rings.
Do I need an account?
No. Everything lives on your iPhone unless you sign in with an LMKdev ID, which syncs your workouts and routines. Either way, you can export your data or delete all of it from Settings › Your data.
Is Repz free?
Yes. Repz: Free, never forced ads, no in-app purchases. LMKdev apps have no paywall on the core of the app and never show forced ads (no banners, no pop-up ads). Optional tips, and in some apps optional videos you choose to watch, help pay for the next app.
Are the Repz widgets free?
Yes. Widgets are always free in every LMKdev app — never behind a tip, an ad or a sign-in. Long-press your Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for the app.
What does Repz do with my data?
Repz works fully on your iPhone without an account. Signing in with an LMKdev ID saves your workouts and routines to it. Your meal log and what Repz reads from Apple Health stay on your iPhone — unless you connect with a trainer, physical therapist or nutritionist and switch on sharing, category by category. You can change or stop sharing at any time, and what you stop sharing is deleted from our server. LMKdev staff can see that a pro and a client are connected, which categories the client shares, and a pro's verification details — never the shared health data itself, unless you grant time-limited support access. Repz is not a healthcare provider and is not covered by HIPAA. App Store privacy label: Data Linked to You — only what you sign in for or choose to share (Health & Fitness, User ID, Name, User Content). Full details: https://lmkdev.com/apps/repz/privacy.
Do I need an account?
No. Signing in with an LMKdev ID is optional — it backs up and syncs your progress across devices. The app works fully without it.
How do I suggest a feature or a new app?
Let Me Know — that's what LMK stands for. Email hello@lmkdev.com with your idea for Repz (or for a whole new app); a person reads every one. Apps by the people, for the people: if your idea ships, you can choose to be credited by name.
Troubleshooting
- Repz says it isn't allowed to save workouts to Apple Health. Open the Health app, tap your profile, then Apps › Repz, and turn on permission. Then switch "Save workouts to Apple Health" on again in Repz.
- I want to see the intro tour again. Go to History › gear › "How Repz works". It uses demo screens only, so your workouts stay as they are.
- Search shows exercises for equipment I don't have. In Settings › Training › "Equipment you have", pick your gear (or Body only). Search shows those exercises first.
Still stuck? Email support@lmkdev.com and say which app and device — a person reads every one. More on the Repz support page.
